Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist - Lancaster, PA

The Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist is responsible for the consistent application of the corporate credit policy, preparation of budget plans for customers, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers! This position also identifies problem accounts and provides monthly updates of receivables to the Finance Department.

Responsibilities:

1. Answer customer inquiries related to bills, payments and terms
2. Accurately posts daily cash, credit card and check payments to customer accounts
3. Set-up budget accounts for customers, and perform mid-season review of all budget payment amounts, adjusting payments as necessary
4. Process customer statements and invoices for timely mailing
5. Process payments from financed sales.
6. Process timely credit reports on new customers, establish credit limits, and make credit decisions within assigned authority
7. Enforce credit policy and ensure adherence to accepted standards
8. Complete vendor agreements and process all LIHEAP/Crisis payments and refunds
9. Initiate credits and adjustments to customer accounts within established company policy limits
10. Effectively negotiating payment terms with delinquent customers
11. Review all on-hold and dispatch reports on a timely basis12. Process all budget coupons, customer statements, and finance charges
13. Process daily, remote deposits, refunds, and auto payments
14. Complete “closing” of terminated customer accounts
15. Effectively monitor A/R Trade and Aging Reports, analyzing delinquent accounts and prepare credit analysis and reports on high risk accounts including recommendations for resolution
16. Remain current on credit-related laws and, credit and collections Best Practices

Petroleum Dispatcher - Parkesburg, PA

Rhoads Energy is seeking an experienced Petroleum Dispatcher to join the team!

The Petroleum Dispatcher plans, schedules and coordinates efficient daily delivery of petroleum and propane products in a fast-paced office setting.

Essential Job Functions of the Dispatcher:

  • Builds routes and sequences deliveries using dispatching system, mapping software and resourced available
  • Reviews customer account information to ensure scheduled deliveries are timely and customer accounts are in good standing
  • Forecasts daily and weekly demand based on weather, customer needs and degree day accumulation
  • Analyzes and optimizes customer schedules based on activity and usage
  • Reviews run out reports, customer notes and k-factors daily
  • Communicates with drivers regarding route exceptions
  • Provides driver feedback to Management
  • Inputs and tracks degree day statistics
  • Records fuel inventory

  • Great judgment and ability to apply knowledge to a new set of circumstances for daily route
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Committed to customer service
  • Excellent Microsoft Office abilities (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook)
  • Team player and collaborator with a positive approach to interactions
  • Strong time-management, organization and project management skills
  • Prior experience in a logistic or analytical role (prior dispatch experience preferred)
