E.G. Smith Building Wins Merit Award

When E.G. Smith Inc. opened the doors to its newly constructed headquarters in South Heidelberg Township, company leaders knew it would streamline delivery of heating oil and propane to customers. What they didn’t realize: they were also walking into an award-worthy structure.

The E.G. Smith headquarters earned a 2017 Award of Merit in the Pre-Engineered Buildings category from the Associated Builders and Contractors Keystone Chapter. The honor was part of ABC’s Excellence in Construction program. Benchmark Construction Company received the award for managing the construction process for the new facility. Benchmark offers a wide range of construction services across the region.
