Rhoads Energy - Main Line
Main Line Heating, Cooling, and Fuel Experts
HVAC & Fuel Services You Can Rely On
Since 1931, Main Line residents have trusted our team for their home’s heating, cooling, and fuel needs. Formerly Mack Energy, which joined the Rhoads Energy Family of Companies in 2020.
History of Mack Energy
Mack Energy was founded by Frederick J. McCorry – “Mr. Mack” in 1931. He followed in the footsteps of his father, an oil man from western Pennsylvania, and purchased a small company in rural Berwyn. As the decades passed, the McCorry family expanded their business and added new innovations, such as one of the first “pump” oil trucks in the area, degree day tracking to anticipate customers delivery needs, and, in the 1950s, modern two-way radios.
Guided by its mission of “a continued commitment to our founding principles and the diversified needs of our customers,” Mack Energy has expanded its full-service capabilities to include natural gas distribution, an online account management portal, a national fleet fueling card, and much more. In 2020, Mack Energy joined the Rhoads Energy Family of Companies.
Testimonials
We have been a 13-year oil heat and furnace maintenance customer. We woke up with no heat and phoned in a service call request. Al was here within the hour and fixed the problem straight away. It’s the kind of service that we’ve come to expect from Mack.

Been with Mack for about 15 years. They’ve always, every time, responded quickly and professionally. Zero complaints with their furnace maintenance staff and their fuel oil delivery.

Arrived on time was very helpful, professional and courteous. Answered questions and looked into a concern we had about the boiler. Very comfortable that the boiler is ready for the heating season thanks to the good care it received.
