LancasterOnline Interviews Rhoads CEO on 2015 Outlook

LancasterOnline interviewed Rhoads Energy CEO Mike DeBerdine and other local business leaders to share their outlook for 2015 and what they hope to accomplish.

DeBerdine stated “one key resolution for our companies: keep bringing innovative energy ideas to the region — vehicles that use alternative fuels, programs that focus on efficiency, and more. Innovation spurs growth and pushes us to think differently about the future.

“We want to continue developing new partnerships with businesses, associations, school districts and other organizations. Time and again, we’ve learned that when businesses, not-for-profits and the public work together, we achieve great things in Lancaster County.

“Finally, a resolution that’s more of a challenge to our political leaders in Washington and Harrisburg: It’s time to take full advantage of our current energy abundance to create a more secure future.

“This year, our leaders need to set aside partisanship and establish a serious energy policy that transcends the next election, serves multiple generations and manages our vast resources to promote long-term stability.”
